Beautiful Vietnam

Vietnam

Vietnam offers something for every kind of traveller, be it backpackers, beach lovers or nature lovers.
For me the highlight of the trip was the Cruise in Halong Bay and Street food of Hanoi. Would surely love to visit the place again.

Hanoi

Temple of Literature- Hanoi

Temple of Literature is dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu). It is the site of Vietnam’s first university- Imperial Academy.

There are 82 stelae which surrounds the ‘Well of Heavenly Clarity’. In Vietnamese mythology, the tortoise, the unicorn, the dragon and the phoenix are holy animals. It is said that the placement of stelae signifies "everlasting respect to talent".

Even today, students visit the temple as a ritual for good luck prior to important examination. During our visit, we saw groups of students celebrating their graduation ceremony here.
